Scottish Union of Supported Employment (SUSE): Designing Employability – Play Your Part

SUSE will be playing a leading role in Scottish Government’s new Public Social Partnership (PSP) which aims to deliver pilot projects with employers that will improve their knowledge and expertise in recruiting and retaining disabled people. In this workshop we are hoping to get your ideas and advice on the type of projects the PSP should run with employers and find out what you want the PSP to achieve for people who are deaf or have experienced hearing loss.

David Cameron has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Scottish Union of Supported Employment since 2017. He has spent the majority of his career with a large voluntary sector organisation with responsibility for developing and delivering employment services, social enterprises and youth projects for people with disabilities. He worked within the Scottish Government on the design of the Fair Start Scotland programme and recently participated in the Expert Group that supported the development of the Fairer Scotland: Employment Action Plan.
